It has been a while once again since I have put up any new pictures of the kids. Spare time is getting harder to find and nap time is getting shorter. We have been spending a lot of time on the floor, since PJ is on the move. He has learned to pull himself forward and is officially on the go. He has also learned to sit up on his own in the past few days, but has not been able to keep himself upright. Sydney continues to grow like a weed too. She has really taken to preschool and has finally come out of her shell with the class. This new found independence has really done all of us some good. We are looking forward to the holidays and hope that everyone has a safe and happy one!!!

Happy Halloween everyone!!! My little butterfly and pumpkin were a big hit with all of their friends at playgroup. We had a great time at put playgroup party and PJ even got to roll around on the mat for a little while. Sydney really enjoyed the slide and the parade of costumes this year and even did a little dance in the middle of the parade. They also went to their first Halloween party, given by a friend of Sydney's from preschool. Both kids had a great time and made out like fat rats with goodies. Boy what a busy week.

Too Cute

Life at the Kuck house has been crazy!!! The kids are changing so much it is going too quick. Sydney loves preschool and is getting used to playing with other kids, I just wish she would talk in class. Her teacher informs me that she is silent form the time she gets there till the time she leaves. This just totally boggles my mind since she talks from the time she gets up till the time she goes to bed at home. My little shy girl will find her own soon.
PJ is almost 6 months old and getting to be quite a handful. He is rolling completely over in both directions and trying to get those knees working. He can slide backwards across the floor, but gets no traction in the hardwood, so we may be saved for a while. He has also started cereal, fruit and veggies. That is a big hit with him. PJ loves everything he eats and loves to be part of the crowd when we eat. I have even started giving him those fruity puff things as a way to keep him in the loop. He is not quite sure of the texture, but I don't have to worry to much about the choke factor.
We are going to all go to a couple of Halloween party's this week, so there will be lots of pictures to follow:)

Yesterday, we went to the cabin for lunch with Grammy and Gramps, for one of our last boat rides of the season. Sydney loves to ride on the boat and doesn't mind wearing her life vest, which makes me a little more relaxed about being on the lake. When we got back to the dock, we were visited by some geese and ducks, and of course Grammy had bread for them. Sydney loved feeding the birds and got pretty good getting the bread into the water. George didn't wear to much bread nor did he get to many fists to the face. It was so funny to watch her squeal with laughter at the birds chasing after the little pieces of bread she threw at them. When the bread was gone, she looked at the water and said bye bye ducks and blew them a kiss. What a day!!!

Maybe we should have named him Linus???

Here are the newest pictures of Sydney and PJ. I'm so sorry I have not posted in a while, but our camera broke. Now that we have a new one things will get back on track.
Sydney got glasses last month and loves them. It is a whole new world for her and she is able to see things much more clearly. Syd also stared preschool on Fridays and a play group on Tuesdays, and is having a great time.
PJ is changing by leaps and bounds. He is eating rice cereal, laughing and rolling over. PJ has been watching Syd run all over the house and has decided he wants to go too. I have a feeling he will be crawling by Thanksgiving, then things will really be crazy around here.

We are finally getting into the swing of things around here. PJ is getting into a routine. We have found our hands and began laughing the other day. He is really starting to become this little person. Sydney is really starting to like her brother. She let me get a picture of both of them together yesterday. What a big girl, holding her little brother!!! I think the realization that he is not leaving has finally set in. Syd is getting better about sharing our attention with him, and has even given him a few kisses. It is the little steps we are so very happy about. Now, if Syd would try to stop launching PJ out of the bouncy chair, trying to help him bounce, I would relax a little bit more. I guess we need a little more time for that. Enjoy!!!

How could you not love these faces!!!

Happy Birthday Sydney!!!!
We were lucky enough to have a house full to celebrate Sydney's 2nd birthday. She didn't quite understand all the fuss, but loved all of the Elmo decorations. It was great day and everyone had a good time. We had fun watching Aiden, Trevor and Sydney running around the yard. It was quite an adventure trying to get pictures of all of them together, since they all like to go in different directions. The only time they were all together was to help Sydney open all of her presents. That was the funniest part of the day. We enjoyed seeing everyone and can't wait to see everyone again!!

This week has been filled with lots of little accomplishments in the Kuck house. Sydney has been moved into her new room and is finally sleeping on her big girl bed. While it has only been 2 days, the move has not been as bad as I expected and there have not been many tears on either side. She is still not sure about the room and her bed, because she is able to get up and walk around. I have put up the gate to keep her from wandering around the house at night, and to let us continue to get a little bit of sleep. We figured that since we were not sleeping anyway that this would be a good time to try the new room. I can't believe that she has grown as fast as she has. Next month we will celebrate Syd's 2nd birthday.

PJ has started holding his head up and focusing on objects this week. I even caught a smile the other day. There is nothing better than a gummy grin!!! He is getting his schedule down and we are finally getting into the swing of having a little one around the house again. It is amazing how much you forget in such a short time as they grow. George looked at me the other day and asked if Syd was really that small once, to which I replied yes, hard to believe isn't is. They change so fast, it feels like only yesterday we brought Syd home. Where has the time gone????

Well, My life with Sydney has been quite an adventure over the past 22 months and now it is even more interesting. George Paul IV has joined my life and Sydney is not quite sure what to do about this. I can see the big question in her eyes...WHEN IS IT LEAVING???? I have been quite surprised with her reaction to him. Syd has become quite the big helper when it comes to changing him and loves to pat pat the baby. Hopefully she will continue to accept the little man in her life or it will be a battle till the end. I think that once she realizes as he gets bigger, she will have a partner in crime things will be very fun. Here are a few pictures of GPK IV. Enjoy

Happy Easter!!!

Sorry, it has been a while since I put up new pictures of Sydney. Over the holidays our computer went up and we lost everything. We just got it back a few weeks ago, so I have been trying to get things back up and running. Lucky for me I had not erased any of the pictures off the camera for a while, so our trip to Florida and the holidays are safe. Here are a few from a week or so ago. I will try to make more of an effort to add new pictures, but having help with little fingers makes it quite challenging.
Sydney is growing like a weed and running around the house like a tornado. Keeping up with her has been quite a huge adventure. Her vocabulary is amazing, with new words popping out everyday. I am surprised by how quickly she learns new words, so we have had to watch what we say, which can be difficult at times. Time sure has flown by and I'm sure it will with the next one as well.
